The Role

We are seeking to employ a Learning Mentor, to support and cover classes. The post holder will work with children in Year 7 through to Year 11, covering curriculum lessons across all subjects. You may also be required to support students offsite as a 1:1 tutor, as a valued member of the school community.  

 

Candidates should be passionate and ambitious with a drive and commitment to improve the life chances of our young people. You will have a dynamic, exceptional and creative approach to improving the teaching and learning in a way that benefits all children. You will preferably have experience of working with young people with additional needs including childhood trauma, alongside SEMH and ASC.   

  

Recent teaching or teacher assistant experience within a mainstream school would be beneficial.
