Financial Reporting Officer

Salary: Grade 6 SCP 16-22 (£29,572-£32,654)
The Role
We are seeking to recruit a Financial Reporting Officer based at the Trust Central Office.
This role will see you undertake responsibilities as a member of the finance team within central services and will be responsible for effective financial management support reporting & compliance, completing and posting the monthly payroll journal and assisting in ensuring payroll checks are completed. Preparing and providing other ad hoc reports and tasks as requested accurately and efficiently, sometimes at short notice with strict deadlines. Manager in managing the Trust’s finance, preparation of financial statements and reports.
The Ideal Candidate
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent analytical skills with the ability to solve problems and supply solutions. You would need to be proficient in Microsoft office packages, including Excel, to work confidentially and in line with GDPR and internal processes to protect information. Strong ability to manage conflicting deadlines and demands with ability to lead and manage staff developing relationships at all levels. Part- qualified or working towards a recognised accountancy qualification (e.g. AAT, CIPFA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent experience. You will need experience supporting the preparation and reviewing of financial reports, management accounts, and statutory returns and preparing Balance sheet reconciliations and posting general adjustments.
