The Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Manager  to lead and coordinate our SEND provision, ensuring every student receives the support they need to succeed.


The Role

As SEND Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational management of SEND support across the school. You will work closely with the SENCO, senior leaders, teaching staff, and external agencies to ensure high-quality, personalised support for students with a wide range of needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the team of Teaching Assistants and other SEND support staff.
  • Support the SENCO in implementing and reviewing EHCPs and provision maps.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and support strategies.
  • Maintain accurate records and contribute to SEND reviews and reports.
  • Liaise with parents, carers, and external professionals to ensure effective communication and support.
  • Promote inclusive practices and contribute to staff training and development.

  • A good understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and relevant legislation.
