The Role

Could you be our new receptionist? We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and highly organised person to work at the reception desk and welcome visitors to St Aldhelm’s Academy. The role also includes general administrative tasks including dealing with a high volume of telephone calls and helping students and visitors with a wide range of queries as well as handling incoming and outgoing post and small parcel deliveries. The successful candidate will be confident using a wide range of IT packages, particularly Excel and Outlook, and will be able to stay calm under pressure and prioritise tasks appropriately. Prior experience of Arbor and safeguarding children in an educational setting would be an advantage but full training will be provided. The successful candidate will be required to undertake first aid training and be part of the Academy’s first aid team. Working hours 8-4 with a 3.30 finish on Fridays, term time only.
